Psychological Therapy
At Eton Psychology, we bridge the gap between clinical excellence and scalable, compassionate care.
Why We Are Neuro-Affirming
Our psychology department is dedicated to providing specialised, neuro-affirming mental health services that meet the growing demand for authentic, validating therapeutic experiences. We pride ourselves on a service model that is not only clinically superior but also deeply rooted in the functional understanding of diverse neurodivergent nervous systems. We believe that traditional therapy models can inadvertently pathologise neurodivergent traits. At Eton Psychology, we have deliberately shifted away from "compliance-based" therapies toward a stance that is intrinsically validating of neurodivergent experiences.
- From Deficits to Functional Understanding: We do not view "dysregulated" behaviours as deficits to be corrected; instead, we recognise them as rational physiological responses to sensory overwhelm or executive dysfunction.
Our Clinical Services & Fees
1. Psychological & Coaching Initial Assessment
- The Approach: A comprehensive Functional and Emotional Mapping designed specifically for individuals with ADHD and Autism. We explore your life story to identify core strengths and needs, moving beyond a medical-only model.
- The Goal: To create a strategic roadmap that helps you manage your neurotype, meet your expectations, and maintain your potential across personal, academic, and professional goals.
- Format: 2 Sessions
- Fee: £595
2. Neurodivergent-Friendly Psychological Therapy
- The Approach: Specialised therapy reframed to be accessible and affirming. We focus on sensory-friendly safe spaces, accessible mindfulness, and managing regulation through a sensory lens (incorporating neuro-affirming DBT principles).
- Format: Available in-person, virtual, one-to-one, or in group settings.
- Fee: £200 per session
3. Educational Psychology: Redefining "Ability"
- The Approach: We move away from the traditional "deficit model" and the limiting label of a learning disability. We view these assessments as a vital tool to help you understand your unique learning profile.
- The Goal: To uncover your innate strengths and identify your specific needs so that you can navigate your education with confidence and truly thrive.
- Format: In-person or Virtual
- Fee: £1095
- Reframing "Wilfulness": While standard protocols might see a refusal to engage in stillness as "wilful," we reframe this as a sensory incompatibility.
- Sensory-First Validation: We prioritise "Sensory Mindfulness," validating movement, stimming, and external focus as legitimate and necessary methods of grounding.
- Support for Alexithymia and RSD: Our curriculum is adapted to support those with difficulty identifying emotions (alexithymia) and those experiencing the intense physiological pain of Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), without ever pathologising these experiences.
The Eton Approach
What Makes Us Truly Distinguished?
Our practice is defined by a forward-thinking integration of expertise and innovation:
- The MDT Model (Multi-Disciplinary Team): Your care is never siloed. Our team works collaboratively across specialties to ensure that every angle of your well-being (clinical, emotional, and functional) is addressed.
- Bespoke and Dynamic Planning: We do not offer "off-the-shelf" solutions. Your treatment plan is a living, non-medical roadmap that evolves as you grow, adapting to your changing needs and environment.
- Integrated Medical & Psychological Management: We utilise technology aids to bridge the gap between medical management and psychological support. This integration ensures that your biological and therapeutic goals are perfectly aligned, creating a unified path to reaching your full potential.

Educational Psychology Assessment
Private dyslexia or educational psychology assessment is essentially a "deep dive" into how a brain processes information. It isn’t a pass/fail exam; rather, it’s a series of puzzles and tasks designed to map out cognitive strengths and identifies exactly where the "bottlenecks" in learning occur.
At Eton, we move away from the traditional "deficit model." We don’t believe in the limiting label of a learning disability; instead, we view these assessments as a vital tool to help you understand your unique learning profile. Our goal is to uncover your innate strengths and identify your specific needs so that you can navigate your education with confidence and truly thrive.
