Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 3 February 2026
Welcome to the Eton Psychiatrists website (the "Website"). By accessing and using this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this Website.
General Terms
Eligibility: This Website can be used by individuals of all ages, including young people under 18, particularly for those interested in the CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) section. However, individuals under 18 are subject to certain limitations, such as not being able to make payments directly.
Use of Website: You agree to use the Website responsibly and lawfully. The Website must not be used for any activities that infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Website.
Medical Disclaimer
No Medical Advice: The information provided on this Website is for general informational purposes and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You should always consult a qualified healthcare provider for advice about your mental health condition.
No Doctor-Patient Relationship: Using this Website or contacting Eton Psychiatrists does not establish a doctor-patient relationship. To initiate professional care, a formal consultation with a licensed clinician is required.
Payments
Payment Policy: Payment for services must be made as per the agreed terms at the time of booking. Full payment details will be provided when scheduling appointments.
Limitations for Under-18s: Individuals under the age of 18 may access the Website and its content, but they cannot make payments for services. Payments must be made by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult who is 18 years or older.
Cancellation and Non-Attendance
Scope: This section applies to all appointments booked and paid for privately, whether in person or online. NHS-funded appointments follow the policy of the commissioning NHS body. If your appointment is funded by an insurer or another third party, you remain responsible for any charge under this section that they do not cover.
How to Cancel: To cancel or reschedule, email info@etonpsychiatrists.co.uk or call 020 7929 2520. Notice is measured from when we receive your message to the scheduled start time, in calendar hours including weekends and bank holidays. We will confirm every cancellation in writing.
Cancellation Charges:
- 72 hours’ notice or more: full refund.
- Between 48 and 72 hours’ notice: 50% refund.
- Less than 48 hours’ notice, or non-attendance without notice: no refund, and the full fee is charged.
Rescheduling with less than 72 hours’ notice is treated as a cancellation. Where one fee covers several sessions, charges apply to the part of the fee for the affected session, as set out in your booking confirmation. Deposit terms given at booking take precedence over this section.
Late Arrival: Appointments end at the scheduled time and the full fee applies. If you have not arrived or joined within 15 minutes and we cannot reach you, the appointment is treated as non-attendance.
Discretionary Waiver: In exceptional circumstances, such as sudden illness, hospital admission, bereavement or where a reasonable adjustment is appropriate, we may at our discretion waive or reduce a charge. Any waiver is subject to reasonable supporting evidence, for example a medical note or hospital letter. Please contact us as soon as you are able.
If We Cancel: If we cancel or reschedule your appointment, you may choose a full refund or a priority rebooking at no extra cost.
Refunds: Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of the cancellation being confirmed.
Your Statutory Rights: If you book online, by email or by phone, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking. If your appointment falls within those 14 days, we will ask you to confirm at booking that you want it to go ahead within that period. If you then cancel, you will pay a proportionate amount for any work we have already carried out on your behalf, such as reviewing questionnaires, reports or records, and the remainder will be refunded. Once your appointment has taken place, this right no longer applies. Bookings made in person at our clinic are not covered by this right. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Confidentiality
Client Confidentiality: Eton Psychiatrists is committed to protecting your privacy and upholding confidentiality in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and other relevant laws. Your personal information and any clinical discussions will remain confidential.
Use of Personal Data: Personal data collected through the Website will only be used to provide services, respond to enquiries, or improve your experience on the Website. For more information, refer to our Privacy Policy.

Website Availability: Eton Psychiatrists does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Website and reserves the right to suspend or withdraw its availability for maintenance or other reasons.
