About Me
I am a Consultant Psychiatrist with more than 10 years of experience across the NHS, private clinics, and mental health research. While I provide care across the full spectrum of adult mental health, I have a dedicated specialisation in supporting high-performing adults, creatives, and women who often reach adulthood before realising their struggles have a biological name.
I help patients who struggle with procrastination, overwhelm and inconsistency, which are common in ADHD. Many of my patients come to me with a specific fear: “If I seek support or take medication, will I lose my creativity?” My aim is to talk this through openly, so that any decision about treatment is an informed one.
I offer specialised private ADHD assessments and autism diagnosis in London. My aim is to give you clarity about how your mind works, and practical support that helps you carry ideas through to completion while looking after your wellbeing.
Areas of Expertise
1. Late Diagnosis ADHD & Autism in High-Achieving Adults & Women
I assess adults whose ADHD or autism has been missed because they coped well on the surface. This includes creative professionals, artists and adults with a high IQ, where ability has hidden the difficulty for years. I have particular experience of how ADHD and autism can present in women, including people who have masked or camouflaged for many years. My assessment looks beneath coping strategies to give you a clear and fair understanding of your difficulties.
2. Executive Dysfunction, Procrastination & Adult ADHD
I work with entrepreneurs and professionals whose work is affected by inconsistency. By addressing procrastination and executive dysfunction, I help you find strategies that reduce overwhelm and make daily tasks more manageable, so that more of your energy goes into your work.
3. Emotional Regulation for Sustainable Performance
Beyond focus, we look at emotional regulation and sensory overwhelm, which can lead to burnout. I work closely with our psychologists so that your psychological therapy and strategies form part of one integrated management plan. My goal is to help you work in a way that is sustainable and avoids repeated cycles of exhaustion.
4. Transition Specialist for Younger Adults
I have a particular focus on younger adults who struggle as they move into independent life. When the structures of school or home fall away, many people find the demands of daily life harder to manage. I help build the skills and routines needed to navigate this transition.
5. Specialised Medicolegal Consultancy
I provide psychiatric reports for legal and professional proceedings, combining over a decade of clinical experience with training in medicolegal report writing. My reports are structured, evidence based and written to be clear and precise.
